In the colour correction, the important function is Temperature, Hue and Saturation curve. Lumetri scopes showing the rate of brightness. Divide brightness into highlight, mid tone, and shadow and see how they spread in the screen. To adjust light, you can use Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, and Shadows in Premiere Pro.

Fig 3.1 Working screen, Week6 (29/5/2024)

In this week, we took videos for recreate scenes from existing movie. I acted one of the main character in this project and other team members did shooting, lightning, etc. After shoot all scenes, I started edit the scenes into one video. I used Premiere Pro for editing. For make our scenes to be realistic, I changed clip speed a bit and it is the important thing in this editing process.

Project2 Tiktok/Insta video

Fig 4.1 The idea for tiktok/insta video, Week7 (8/6/2024)

For this task, we need to make about 1minute video and the theme is our favourite trend/meme videos. I chose a meme, "Minecraft in real life". I found the original video is little bit short and didn’t show the creator’s face. So I want to remake it with using myself as a Minecraft character and adventure that world.

To create my video, I started film myself in several places. It wasn’t take too much time because I have bluetooth button for shoot from a distance.

REFLECTIONS

In shooting practice, I shoot several scenes with my teammate. It was so hard because the camera with assistant need to concentrate for the angles, lightning, and proper timing for move camera itself. I was doing an actor and I don’t need to be nervous for shooting, so I felt guilt while watching my teammates struggling. However, I need to focus on the good timing and my lines to recreate existing scenes. The most hard part is definitely the battle scene. My teammate who needs to defeat and me try again and again to make our visual like actual battle, but it was so hard because we need to be careful to not hurt each other. As a result, the recreate scenes were so good and I could try new technique in editing part. It was so fun.
In Tiktok/Insta video, I really enjoyed the shooting part and editing part because the original meme that I chose was already my favourite form of humour. In the editing part, I spent a lot of time with it because I really enjoying ant couldn’t stop add details.
