REFLECTIONS
• What have I learnt in this module?
I learned the concept of design principles for make our work more attractive. I really surprised that I could verbalize the feeling of “attract by one work” by using word from design principles. As a masterpiece following the golden ration, the great work always following these principles.
• What did I enjoy the most?
I used to the manual way rather than digital because of my study experience in Japanese atelier. I am happy with express my idea with this way, and also enjoyed think about the material and texture for plastic part.
• What did I not enjoy the most?
I’m really not good at detailed work, so I often blew off some piece of plastic while I’ve trying stick them to paper. It needs strong concentration to make good position and angle, so I was really tired when I focus on them.
• What have I learnt about myself through this module?
I rediscovered that I’m really loving with the process of design and thinking about it. I was too focus on this work because it was so fun for me, and I forgot about eating, drinking, sleeping, and even go to toilet. So I’m happy to get new knowledge for verbalize my feeling for design.
• What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
The big difference between current and past me is got knowledge of design principles and able to use them as one criterion for think about design evaluations. This is definitely great skill of observation, and it will improve my design in future.
• What could be improved in this module?
The learning system is really helpful for me. Hope this module will continue with this format.
